Hawa Mahal : Built in 1799 A. D., the Hawa Mahal or
Palace of winds is a major Rajput landmark. This five- storey
building along the main street of the old city is in pink
splendour with semioctagonal and delicately honey combed
sandstone windows. The monument was originally conceived with
the aim of enabling ladies of the royal household to watch the
everyday life and royal processions of the city.
Jal Mahal : The Island Palace, Jal Mahal built by Sawai
Jai Singh 1 , is a fascinating spot at the center of the Man
Sagar Lake.
Ajmer : for seven long centuries before Jaipur was
built, Amer served as the capital of the Kachhwaha rulers of
the old state of Dhundhar. Very little of the early structures
survive now. Elephant ride in Amer.

Jantar Mantar : A stone observatory. Largest of Jai

Pushkar : Pushkar ,12 kms. To the northwest of Ajmer,
is a celebrated pilgrimage center. The town also attracts
visitors from across the world during the cattle fair, held
here annually. The winding road from Ajmer through Nag pahar
(Snake Mountain) leads to the ancient Pushkar Lake. Pushkar
wown stretches around the lake with hills on three sides and
sandy stretches on the fourth.

Ranakpur : Renowed for some marvelously carved Jain templs in
amber stone. Ranakpur is one of the five holy places of the
Jain community. 96 km from Udiapur, these temples were created
in the 15th century A. D. during the reign of rana Kumbha and
are enclosed within a wall. The central `Chaumukha` or four
faced temple is dedicated to the venerated Tirthankara
Rishabhji. Open on all four sides, it enshrines the four faced
image of Adinath. Sprawling over 48,000 sq. feet, the temple
is an astounding creation with 29 halls and 1,444 pillars- all
distinctly carved.
